Résumé : |
The last decade has witnessed a rapid expansion of the sciences known as photoacoustic(PA) and photothermal(PT). These methods emerged as valuable tools for optical and thermal characterisation of a wide range of samples offering significant improvements in sensitivity and precision over traditional methods. CuInSe2 (CIS) has become one of the most important semiconducting absorber materials for use in thin-film solar cells. The electrical properties of this material are largely determined by intrinsic defect populations. The control of these defects is important with respect to optimising the performance of devices based on this compound. PA is unique in the spectral measurement of powders. In this context we have first done a study on the physical properties of CuInSe2 as well as a synthesis on the different theoretical models published which describe PA effect in solids, thin films and powders. After what, we have derived simplified mathematical relations of the PA signal for each sampletype. In the experimental part, we have analysed PA spectral measurements taken of CuInSe2 samples that have been prepared in different forms. We have noticed that the spectral PA behaviour is the same to some extent. Chemical intrinsic defects (shallow and deep) have been detected in the tail and at the edge of the absorption curve. A gap value of 1.01 eV has been determined in most samples. The results obtained here are in good agreement with the literature. |
