Internet of things technology has known a drastic expanding in our era and the
digital world. The primary purpose of it is to link the objects that are surrounding
us to facilitate our life, works, researches, and more. However, with the evolution
of this technology and the massive amount of exchanged data, security remains an
important challenge. Besides,as most of IoT devices like sensors may have limited
capacities in energy, computation, and storage, our thesis treats this matter by providing
a lightweight secure protocol that takes these limitations into consideration.
Additionally, using blockchain technology will assist our contribution for more secure
authentication between the equipment used in our work. Therefore, in order to
implement our proposed protocol, we use Automated validation of Internet Security
Protocols and Application (AVISPA) and Ethereum (Remix). The results showthat our
work ensures authentication process that can stand and resist various attacks. Furthermore,
