Les énergies renouvelables, fournies par le soleil, l'eau, le vent, la terre, les végétaux, par opposition aux énergies fossiles, sont inépuisables et n'engendrent pas ou peu de déchets ni d'émissions polluantes. En 2020, la réglementation thermique française passe à une réglementation environnementale, la RE 2020, plus ambitieuse et exigeante pour la filière construction, avec pour objectif de : - donner la priorité à la sobriété énergétique et à la décarbonation de l'énergie ; - diminuer l'impact carbone de la construction des bâtiments ; - garantir le confort des occupants en cas de forte chaleur.
Ces objectifs de résultats élevés passent par une réflexion en matière de conception du bâtiment, de confort et de consommation d'énergie et se traduisent par des exigences de moyens, notamment le recours aux énergies renouvelables. La 3e édition du guide met en lumière les évolutions majeures, portant notamment sur la réglementation environnementale, le rôle des acteurs, l'économie des projets, le financement et les mesures incitatives.
Les caractéristiques techniques des systèmes utilisant les énergies renouvelables sont aussi mises à jour en tenant compte de l'expérience acquise par les acteurs des filières et des développements apparus au cours de la dernière décennie. Du besoin à l'exploitation, cette nouvelle édition du guide analyse les différents enjeux énergétiques, environnementaux et sociétaux des prochaines décennies en abordant les points suivants : - contexte législatif et réglementaire national et européen ; - caractéristiques des systèmes utilisant les énergies renouvelables : - systèmes solaires, - systèmes de chauffage au bois ou à biomasse, - systèmes éoliens, - raccordement à des réseaux de chauffage ou de refroidissement collectifs à plusieurs bâtiments ou urbains, - pompes à chaleur, - chaudières à condensation, - systèmes de production combinée de chaleur et d'électricité, - système hybrides (pompes à chaleur et chaudières performantes).
