Mechanical propertiesIndex. décimale : 530 - Physique Résumé :
The objective of this study is to elaborated of the wollastonite (CaSiO3), prepared from silicon dioxide (SiO2) and calcium oxide (CaO) of the deposit d’El Khroub (Constantine), using synthesis by the solid method. the prepared samples were also characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform
infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and the mechanical tests was performed
The results shows that 1100 °C is the best sintering temepature, it has been found that the density is about 97 % of the theoretical density value of wollastonite, X-ray analysis reveals that the phase appears is only that of wollastonite. This result has been confirmed by Fourier transform infrared
spectroscopy.Note de contenu : Sommaire
