Le premier tome est constitué de cinq chapitres traitant des notions fondamentales de la statistique, des tableaux statistiques, des représentations graphiques, des mesures de la tendance centrale et des mesures de la dispersion. Le second tome est formé de quatre chapitres, les mesures de forme et de concentration, les indices, les distributions statistiques à deux dimensions et l’ajustement et la corrélation. Dans cet ouvrage, l’accent a été mis sur l’explication des concepts statistiques en s’appuyant sur les définitions, les démonstrations, les exemples et surtout les applications. Ce livre couvre, en totalité, le programme proposé par le ministère de l’enseignement supérieur et la recherche scientifique.
