nouvelles plus critiques = Fake news, misinformation and disinformation are emerging as cyber security
threats as long as sharing false information is dangerous and can cause individuals to act
in harmful ways. For this reason, it is crucial to provide fact-checking tools to determine
when news content, images, and videos is fake or real. The main focus of this work is on the
development of efficient algorithms that can identify fake news with a high level of accuracy
while also measuring the uncertainty of the model’s predictions, an aspect that has not been
explored in this field before. The proposed approaches include a deep ensemble of Bi-Long
Short Term Memory (BI-LSTM) models using embedded inputs, Deep Neural Network
(DNN) models with metadata, and DNN models with Term Frequency-Inverse Document
Frequency (TF-IDF) matrix. Additionally, we implement a Bayesian Neural Network
(BNN) for metadata, to measure uncertainty on its own. The experiments conducted on a
challenging dataset show that the proposed model achieve better performance compared
to previous works on this topic while also providing valuable insights into the level of
uncertainty in the model’s predictions which help Internet users to become more critical

opportunités induites par les mégadonnées = High-dimensional datasets are typical in today's data-driven world in industries like

. - Nantes : Editions Eni, 2013 . - 1 vol.
