L'objectif de cette thèse est la caractérisation de la réponse du TLD-100 en termes de dose délivrée et d’énergie du rayonnement utilisé. Il est, également, question de vérifier la reproductibilité de la mesure et l’extinction du signal TL (fading). À titre d’application, ce travail a, principalement, consisté à utiliser le dosimètre thermoluminescent TLD-100 (LiF : Mg, Ti) pour mesurer la dose délivrée lors d’un examen tomographique et à le comparer à la valeur théorique calculée. Les irradiations ont été effectuées à l'aide du tube à rayons X du lecteur Riso TL/OSL DA-20 au laboratoire Dosage, Analyse et Caractérisation en haute résolution (DAC-hr) de l'Université Ferhat Abbas -Setif1. Les résultats obtenus indiquent que la réponse TL en fonction de la dose de rayons X montre une dépendance linéaire sur la gamme de doses étudiée. La réponse en énergie du TLD montre une dépendance non linéaire qui une fois ajustée par une fonction d’ajustement de Gauss prévoie un pic d’énergie dans l’intervalle 0-100 keV. En outre, le TLD étudié montre une bonne reproductibilité avec un écart-type d'environ 1,4%. Un faible fading a été, aussi, observé pendant une période de deux jours (48 h) à la température ambiante (5,95%) et les pics instables se sont disparus après 24 heures de stockage. La dose délivrée au cours de l'examen par tomographe est d'environ 1,77Gy, tandis que celle calculée théoriquement est d'environ 1,68Gy. Une différence de 5,29% est, ainsi, observée entre les deux valeurs. Ceci confère une précision suffisamment acceptable pour la technique de mesure de dose utilisant le dosimètre thermoluminescent TLD-100. Note de contenu : Sommaire
