Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) is a kind of artificial neural networks that is used to find the relationships between input and output parameters in different domains. but, the optimization of ANFIS parameters represents an important problem that has been recently addressed by researchers.
In this work, we try to optimize the parameters of Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) using an optimization method which is called Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). The new model is named as ANFIS-PSO. PSO is a metaheuristic algorithm that is based on the swarm intelligence concept (such as the flocking of birds) for solving complex optimization problems.
