Titre : Sol-gel synthesis of CaFe1-xCuxO3 perovskite for photocatalytic application Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Ilyas Boudjadi, Auteur ; Khelifa Haddadi, Directeur de thèse Année de publication : 2022 Importance : 1 vol (80 f.) Format : 29 cm Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Physique Mots-clés : Physique Index. décimale : 530-Physique Résumé :
In this work, CaFe1-xCuxO3 (where x ranged from 0 to 0.1) powders were successfully
synthesized by the sol-gel method employing metal chloride as cations precursors and water
as a solvent to study the effect of substitution in the B site on the structural characteristics of
perovskite. Physico-chemical characterizations were inducted using different characterization
techniques such as X-ray diffraction, FTIR spectroscopy, TGA/DTA analysis, and SEM.
The study by X-ray diffraction allowed us to identify the formation of the pure CaFeO3
perovskite phase with an orthorhombic structure alongside the presence of detectable
secondary phases. Infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis showed that for the CaFe1-xCuxO3
system compositions, a broad characteristic band of absorption observed around 560 cm-1
was
attributed to the Fe-O stretching vibration. The SEM images have shown high polydispersity
in the sizes and shapes of particles for pure and doped 4% samples, and highly porous
architecture for the samples doped 7% and 10% respectively. In the end, the adsorption of
methylene blue on our powders was studied by applying different kinetic models. We found
that (MB) adsorption on the synthesized samples is best described by the pseudo-second order
model.Côte titre : MAPH/0541 En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ukoXS2Ykyal7EGJcyF7GLPaDZISBcMkE/view?usp=shari [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Sol-gel synthesis of CaFe1-xCuxO3 perovskite for photocatalytic application [texte imprimé] / Ilyas Boudjadi, Auteur ; Khelifa Haddadi, Directeur de thèse . - 2022 . - 1 vol (80 f.) ; 29 cm.
