Cet ouvrage s'adresse à un public qui est confronté au cours des ses études ou dans sa vie professionnelle à une tomographie informatisée en plein essor. Cependant, il peut également convenir à tout scientifique désirant ouvrir le champ de ses connaissances au domaine de l'imagerie neutronique et ses différentes modalités statique, dynamique et tomographique. Il s'intéresse, particulièrement, à la tomographie neuronique à transmission qui a connu un développement presque similaire à celui de la tomographie aux rayons X et ce, depuis la découverte du lien entre transformée de Radon et celle de Fourier et la mise au point des premiers algorithmes de reconstruction d'image basés sur les méthodes de rétro-projection simple ou filtrée. L'objectif de ce livre est la présentation du principe de base de la tomographie neutronique, l'étude du phénomène de durcissement du spectre et l'analyse des erreurs relatives à cette technique d'imagerie 3D.
