Résumé : This study aims to estimate the productivity and assess the health of Aleppo pine forests in Zenadia and Gaoua, located in the northern region of Algeria in the state of Sétif. Using a sample of 50 land plots in Zenadia and 20 plots in Gaoua, each measuring 900 square meters, tree measurements were taken, including tree circumference at 1.30 meters height, total height, and density. The results obtained indicate a high density, which provides several opportunities in terms of oxygen production and the presence of good quality wood. Additionally, dendrometric measurements reveal significant tree growth development in the Gaoua forest compared to the Zenadia forest. This study also sheds light on the opportunities that Aleppo pine can offer in the forestry sector in Algeria, particularly in urban areas.
