this PhD thesis deals mainly with the problemsof improvingnetwork stability, ensuring robust network connectivity and optimizing network overhead in the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) environment. In this context, we are interested in therouting algorithmsto meet the requirements of such environment. Therefore, the general goal of thisresearch work focuses on the design, modeling and simulation of new routingand clustering algorithms for the IoVnetwork. In this respect, we propose two new routing algorithmsbased Quality of servicefor IoV networks,and a new clustering algorithmwhich make it possible to improve their performances, while guaranteeing a high level of servicerequired by the function performed by these networks. The main goalsof the proposed algorithms are:increasingthe deliveryratio between a large number of connected vehicles traveling at high speed,minimizingsignificantly the network overheadanddecreasingthe network Delay. The analytical study andthe simulation for evaluating the proposed algorithms, carried out by a combination of simulatorsNS3, SUMO and MOVE, have yielded convincing results, outperformingthose exhibited by the basic referred algorithms. |
